Christmas in July

Last year for Christmas, all the daughter-in-laws received an invitation to go on a guided striper fishing trip from Sovel and Joyce. While the boys were not happy that they were left out, the girls were a little leery about the adventure awaiting. Bright and early this morning (4:00 A.M.) the adventure began. Joyce was the first to reel in a big one (22.5 lb. 37 inches long) at about 5:30. While we had a great time out on the lake, no one else had the opportunity to catch a fish. We did however want to get our picture taken at the braggin' center so we held up the fish (minnows:) that we reeled in. Will told me that when the boys go fishing, he'd take me and show me how it's done.
