Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you all a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving. Tomorrow is not only Thanksgiving, but also Shannon's and my 9th wedding anniversary. So here's the story. A while back I threw out a not so subtle hint that if he wanted to get me anything for our upcoming anniversary I would love the Willow Tree Nativity Set. Well yesterday he called me on the way home and said that my anniversary gift had come in and he was going to pick it up. He had gotten me a set of flannel sheets. Now I love flannel sheets probably more than most but here is the kicker...a pair of camouflage flannel sheets with deers on them. That's right, he was going to pick them up at our local hunting store. But he surprised me today with the Nativity Set. I love it!!! And I guess I can handle the deer sheets as well. At least they will be warm. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.

Happy Birthday to you...

It's hard to believe that one year ago today we were blessed with such an adorable new addition to our family. Walker has been a real trooper today. He has not felt well at all but he smiled for a picture. He didn't quite know what to think about the cupcake. He never would eat any, try as we all did, he'd just shake his head no. Hopefully he will be feeling better on Sunday for his party and ready to eat cake.

Happy Birthday sweet one! We Love You!

Walker is ONE!!

Walker is one!!!! Here are a few pictures from this morning. As you can tell from the pictures, Walker is sick. 103.5 fever. Our next stop is the doctor... Walker has opened his first present from Big Brother Will.

Old Fashioned Day

Today was Old Fashioned Day at Church. Everyone dressed in "old fashioned" clothing and after church we had a meal.

Here is Walker getting ready to leave for church. We had classes in the sanctuary, instead of going to everyone's classrooms, just like in the old days. Here are Alexa and Walker.
Aunt Char & Katie
Will & Walker's class went outside to play a game of "Drop the Handkerchief". It's very similar to Duck Duck Goose, someone drops a handkerchief behind another person and then must beat that person back to their spot. The kids had a lot of fun and ran off some energy.

Will & Alexa playing Drop the Handkerchief

Today we also "Pounded the Preacher". Everyone brought a pound of something non-perishable for the preacher. Bro. Bobby & Sister JoAnn in front of their pounds of goodies.

Our second stop was to see Grandma Cunningham.
After stopping at Nana & Papa's (they were sick so no pics), we stopped at the neighbors and then on to Aunt Char's house where we ran into this beautiful Princess Madelynn and an adorable Tigger Katie.
My two little spooks.Look at those adorable cheeks. His little bear nose kept disappearing.
We visited more neighbors including Grandma Stephens and ended up at Pa & Granny Joyce's for a bonfire. As Will said to "burn some hotdogs." We went on a hayride and roasted marshmallows. Here are Alexa and Will...they appear to be up to something.
