Turkey Time!!!!

Shannon got his first turkey of the season (FINALLY!!!). This getting up at the crack of dawn is CRAZY!!!!! However, I think this calls for a cookout. I love turkey on the grill. Shannon and his dad with their 1st turkeys of the season.

18-month pictures

I got back Walker's 18-month pictures (and Will's 4 1/2 yr) today. Sherry from Sherry's Studio in Columbia made them. Let me know if you have a favorite because I always have such a hard time deciding. Walker was not happy at all that day and I'm amazed at the smiles she captured.

The Sky's The Limit!

Will & Walker both got kites in their Easter baskets from Nana & Papa. Will could hardly wait to fly his kite and today turned out to be a great kite day. We hadn't even got home from school and Will kept asking if we could go out and fly our kites. They had such a great time! Walker even got to help.

Guess who turned 18-months today? My how the time has flown! What a cutie?!

As you can tell from the pictures, Walker was not in a picture mood. It didn't help that he didn't like his shoes. He kept saying Off! OFF!!! and pointing at his sandals. However we all had a great day! We hope you all had a BLESSED EASTER!

It's a Wild Place!

On Saturday we made a trip to the Louisville Zoo, with Papa & Nana. It started out a little chilly, but was fine once we got there. Will & I saw a goose that was walking on the sidewalk and we decided we would sneak up behind it and make his picture beside it. As I was getting ready to take the picture, the goose attacked Will.

It finally let go and I was standing between them and it tried to attack me. We finally got away from it, walked a little further and then saw this sign. Yes, they WILL bite!This is the way to travel! Walker & Will

1st Easter Egg Hunt

This is Walker's first official Easter egg hunt that he participated in. Will has been preparing him. Will told me that we needed to practice egg hunting so Walker would know how. That is exactly what we did one afternoon, over and over. Today we met Aunt Steph, Mollie, Macy & Maggie at Nana & Papa's for our first Easter egg hunt of the year. While we were egg hunting, Daddy made a special trip to BG to pick up the boys Easter outfits! What a great DAD!!!!Before the hunt, we had a pizza party picnic in the living room floor. Checking out the loot with Papa.This was the best I could get trying to get everyone to look! After the first egg hunt, the kids decided the "grownups" needed to hunt eggs. They took all the goodies out of the eggs and hid them so Nana, Aunt Steph, and myself could hunt eggs. Aunt Steph found the most but she cheated! She took the eggs right out of my basket. I'm pretty sure that I will be able to use this picture as a bargaining tool one day! I'm trying to be as tall as my siblings, but no where close!

Spring Break

Okay, so today is the first day of Spring Break and it is (or was) snowing. We aren't doing much today but have a few little things planned for the week. So check back in, as I'm sure there will be more pictures.

Papa & Nana came over yesterday to play.

Walker loves to come right behind Will or me as we put the books back on the shelf so he can take them right back off.
