Louisville Zoo

One day while coming home from school Walker said, "When are we going to the zoo?  Z-O-O?"  So, on Saturday we made a trip to the zoo since the weather was supposed to be a little cooler.  We had such a good time and the boys talked non-stop on Sunday about the trip.  The baby giraffe, gorillas, sealions and polar bears were our favorites!

Had to stop for a little snack

A gorilla stuck his tongue out and Will stuck his tongue back out at the gorilla.  The gorilla got up, swatted at the glass, and went to find another spot - scared both Will & Walker at first, but then they decided he was giving them high five.

Polar bears are my favorite and have not been opened the past few times we've visited.  The zoo has a new exhibit called Glacier Run - it was awesome.  We only got to see one polar bear though.  Operation Snowflake, a baby polar bear that got separated from it's mother and sibling is on the way to the zoo and should arrive this week.  The lady said the baby would arrive UPS!

Also part of Glacier Run are the sea lions.  They won us all over.  Extremely cute!!!  The training show was so good.

The next pictures show how my babies are growing up WAY too FAST!!!  Here is a comparison to our last visit to the zoo.
