VBS 2009

VBS started last night and the theme is camping (not sure the exact name). Here are Walker & Will moving to another station. Lesson time.

The nights lesson was on Peter and fishing...so during game time the little ones got to fish and carry their "catch" to the other bucket. They had a lot of fun fishing!

March of Dimes

Today the boys and I participated in the March of Dimes walk. It was at the local elementary school and they also had a fire truck there for the kids. Each year we walk as Team Baby Emma in Loving Memory of Emma Suzanne Gosser. Here are a few pictures of the event.

Worn out! As you can see we didn't make it very far down the road before Walker was out. I can feel a long afternoon nap out of this crew!

ER Visit

Walker took a late night visit to the ER. We were coming in to take baths and get ready for bed when Walker fell on the corner of the wood steps coming in from the garage. Now if you know me at all you know I freak out over everything. I often think we should go to the dr. just to have them checked out for minor things, but Shannon is always the voice of reason. However last night when he didn't disagree with me that freaked me out even more. Walker had a golf size knot and his eyes were dilated. He did however "cheese" for me.

After waking him up every 2 hours and having conversations with a 19-month old that just wanted to sleep, it looks much better.

Mother's Day

Sunday I woke up very sick. Try as I did, I just could not make it to church. Shannon took the boys to his MaMa's church and then his family met at her house for lunch. Shannon even remembered to take my camera. Highlight of the day, Alexa and Walker stood in front of the fireplace, each got a book, and with directions from Alexa "sang like they were the choir" for everyone. My two precious miracles from God above!

Star Student of the Day

Will's little school started doing Star Student of the Day a week or so ago and guess who was Star Student yesterday?! Yes, I am THAT crazy Momma who goes in and takes a picture of the picture. I was very excited because he's had to sit in time out a few times. One instance he told the little girls playing in the center next to his that he put snakes in their center. When I ask him about it he said, " But Mom they weren't REAL snakes" Oh, my!
