First Day of School

Today was our first day of school after a long summer that flew by way too fast. 

Hard to believe my little man is in 2nd Grade. 

He said he wasn't excited about school but was bouncing all over the place ready to go way before time.

Walker already to head back to Mrs. Karen's.  Alexa started school this year so he is going to miss her but he had a great day with all of his friends.

Will & Walker's Day

On Will & Walker's day we let the boys pick whatever they want to do or wherever they want to go (within reason) the day before I have to go back to school. This year we chose Tuesday, but I ended up having to go to school in the morning. The boys told Shannon they wanted to go fishing so it worked out great.

 The boys then went and played with their cousins.  For supper they decided they wanted to eat at the Marina.  They love the floating restaurant.

This year they got to take the water taxi back to our vehicle.  They LOVED being out on the lake and choosing which houseboat they wanted.

Thunder over Wilsontown

Last night Joe & Julie held their annual Thunder over Wilsontown.  As usual the fireworks did not disappoint.  I laid my camera down and was talking so I didn't get too many pictures.  Here are a few...

4th Decorations

I didn't decorate much for the 4th this year, but here are my two new additions. 

I LOVE my mesh wreath that I made for the front door - very FESTIVE!!

I ordered this 4th flag banner and loved how it turned out!

Go RAYS!

Last night was Will & Walker's second swim meet of the season. And for the first time in 11 years the Rays beat Knox. Coach Debbie had promised the team that if they won they would get a few practices off and have a party. She held true to her word. No practice this morning (needless to say the boys didn't sleep any later), no practice tomorrow and tomorrow night they are having a pizza party.

YAY Walker!  During Freestyle Walker swam with NO FLOATIES!!!!  Morgan walked in front of him in case he needed her.  He swam GREAT!!!!
