Saturday was a very busy day. We started off with Walker placing 3rd in the 24-36 month boy category at the bigger and better Russell County Fair. Congratulations to the cutest little boy.
Then we headed to... The boys got to meet Sir Topham Hatt. Walker looks a little scared in the picture but really liked Sir Topham Hatt. One of Will's favorite parts was the magic show. Then the train ride with Thomas We finished the day with a little play time.
How fun! We did this too we the boys were smaller and they loved it. I so miss the days when the boys LOVED Thomas. It was truly all Sawyer lived and breathed for about two years. Of course we saved everything (all of our trains are the wooden ones and we have dozens). Eric said the other day he thinks it's about time to break out the Thomas movies for Ellie Claire. He is determined to make her love him like the boys did. Of course he wants her to love him for sentimental reasons and I want her to love Thomas because we have a small fortune invested in all that stuff!!!
I am the mother of two amazing little boys who are growing up WAY too fast. Will (8) is in 2nd grade and Walker (5) an almost-kindergartener. My husband, Shannon, and I just celebrated our 13th anniversary. And if that doesn't keep me busy enough, I teach 8th grade math. One of my favorite sayings is "You can't scare me, I teach middle school!"
