Walker's 1st Game

Tonight was Walker's first t-ball game of the season.  All of his fans showed up, Nana & Papa, Granny & Pa, Shawn Glenn and Nathan.  It started to rain right before the game but stopped just in time to play.

Team Spirit!  GO A's!!!!!

Walker batted first and did a great job!  Several other A's got to bat and then it started pouring.  The game was called and we'll try to pick up where we stopped tomorrow night.

Our Weekend

We've had a very busy weekend.  Shannon had to work nights this weekend and baseball has started.  Saturday morning Walker had his first t-ball practice.  This had to be the cutest thing ever - 3 and 4-year olds trying to figure out the game.  The big goal was teaching them when it was their turn to take the field to run to an X (spray painted on the field).  The thing was once they got to their X very few would run to get the ball.  I have a feeling very soon they will all be fighting over it.
After t-ball practice we had a couple of hours and then we were back to the field for the 100-inning Little League Game.  Will's team did a great job at their first scrimmage.  We ended up getting to play our three innings back to back to back.  The weather was beautiful, everyone had a great time, and we were all worn out by the end of the afternoon!

After a quick nap, we headed to Nana & Papa's.  This is the usual scene - Will and Walker trying to catch Nana's fish out of her pond, with their hands.  Poor fish!
Then we headed over to Uncle Nick & Aunt Emily's.  Uncle Nick took the boys for a
ride on whatever this thing is called.

Turkey

This is Shannon's first turkey of the season.  While I don't like deer meat I do eat grilled turkey.  I got tricked into that or I probably wouldn't have ate that.  I know that I'll get tricked on the deer meat soon but for the time being I'm very cautious at family gatherings.  I always question what the meats are even if I think I know what it is.
I should probably come up with a clever title or something but it's Thursday afternoon and I've got nothing.  Shannon asked me about fifty times if I was going to put his turkey picture on the blog...so....here it is.

Easter Weekend

Here is our weekend in pictures.  Will had his school Easter egg hunt on Thursday and tied for finding the most eggs.  He won his favorite treat, a chocolate Easter bunny.  Walker had his Easter egg hunt at the LLC on Friday.
On Saturday, Shannon's family had lunch, an Easter egg hunt, and then a baby shower for Adam & Mandy.

E.B. left some treats.

My three boys before church.

Walker's Sunday School class.  Two more kiddos were there but they were done with pictures.

Walker had so much fun

Then we were off to Granny Irvin's for lunch and more egg hunting.  Jayden, Jansen, Will & Walker anxiously waiting.  It started raining so the egg hunt was moved indoors.
All the kiddo's ready to go.

Will found the most eggs and Walker found the least eggs.  Notice - Walker had to wear his new rain boots.

Jayden found the golden egg
We had a great weekend spending time with family, hunting a lot of Easter eggs, and eating some delicious food.  But most importantly, let us remember the real meaning of Easter.

The Countdown is On

Only 12 more days until the wedding of the century!  I am super excited about the upcoming wedding of Will & Kate.  Ever since I was a little girl I have loved all things royal.  Probably because I stayed with my Grandma Cunningham when I was little and she also loves anything royal.  She's always telling me the latest on Charles and Camilla (her source of information is the Enquirer).

I remember watching this royal wedding, even though I was only 5.

While I'm counting down I have to also include...

ONLY 27 more days of school!

I LOVE Summer Break and can't wait to be at home with my boys.
