Tubes and Adenoidectomy
Walker went in today for his 2nd set of tubes. He got his first set of tubes at 9 months and they came out about 4 months ago. Since then, we have had about 4 ear infections. So the plan was to remove his adenoids this time also. We had to be at Lexington by 5:30 this morning. Here is Walker playing in the waiting room before he was called back.
Here is Walker and "Elephant". Elephant was a gift from Hannah and Charli who thought he needed a special stuffed animal to take back with him during surgery. When Walker got out I asked him if they put tubes in Elephant's ears also and he said yes.
Notice the ankle bracelet. This did not make Walker happy at all. He screamed when the register lady put it on him, and the whole waiting room turned to see what happened.
After surgery- notice not as happy! He tried to pull his iv out numerous times, did not willingly participate as they tried to test his oxygen and wanted the tape and cotton ball off his hand where his IV had been. Walker HATES bandaids and anything of the sort. Now you may see Will wearing 5 or 6 unnecessary bandaids, but not Walker.
